Abraxas company is located on the island of Pantelleria, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. A corner of paradise, unique in the world for the blue sea, the green mountains, the fascinating lake, the unpredictable weather, all surrounded by a magical atmosphere. Pantelleria is also famous for the production of Moscato Passito, a sweet wine with a “designation of origin” – a mark of quality of the wine - intense and heady scent, produced with grapes dried using a complex procedure in which the sun, the earth and the vine are harmoniously integrated. The company was founded in 1999, when Calogero Mannino, former Minister of Agriculture, decided to begin an adventure and a challenge: to produce wines than repeat the magic of Pantelleria. The realization of this dream is called Abraxas. Today the company has 26 hectares of vines with a production of 80,000 bottles of wine per year, Abraxas is particularly appreciated by renowned restaurants and real wine lovers. A success proved by the numerous awards achieved during the best international wine competitions.
